Lu Feng · 2008
The holes harmed by the Asian Corn Borer 1、2 generation on Sorghum, are distributed in the stem of ear in sorghum and it's follow 1~4 stem on total, the rate of even distribution is 55.35%.1and 2 generation harmed the plants, the average No.of the hole is 0.88 and 1.5 on per plant.Sorghum varieties ICS520 and BTX623 were harmed by the 2 generation, and their yield damages reached 9.61% and 9.56% respectively. The relation between No.of the hole and the yield damage is great negatively significant, and 1 hole increase can lead to 6.62% and 5.53% yield damage accordingly in the two varieties. The relation between the two varieties to the damage is not significant. The relative coefficient does not achieve the significant standard 5%.
