This paper writes up the structure—formation and the grammatical function of the structure M+PP.As a grammantical strucure,how to find the semantic relation feature.the deep-seated semantic function,and the grammatical devices to achieve the conversion of the structure of M+PP have not been drawn attention before.This paper uses the cognitive theory of subjectivity and subjective,the structuralism of distribution,comparing,transforming methods to make a deep study of the semantic mechanism of M+PP structure.Further more,to achieve the transformation of the semantic function and the generation of the M+PP structure,which grammatical devices can be used? Finally,we did the research in a comprehensive and deeply way.
