Model of Highway Freight Forecasting Based on Gene Expression Programming

Many traditional methods in the field of forecasting are applied only to solve simple polynomial functions.Adopting gene expression programming(GEP),proposes the forecasting model for highway transport freight according to the factors related to the highway transport freight.The algorithm is simple and easy to operate which searches functions in the great space and can be used to solve the modeling of the complex functions.Experiments show that the output values of prediction using GEP algorithms are more near the actual values.
