A CHARACTERIZATION OF THE CONGRUENCES ON REGULAR SEMIGROUPS WITH Q-INVERSE TRANSVERSAL

In this paper,congruences on regular semigroups with Q-inverse transversal are investigated based on their bricks-building structure. Congruences on this type of regular semigroups are coordinated by their restriction to the semigroups R and L.The representation of a congruence in the form of parameters,which satisfy some simple compatibility conditions,enables us to describe inverse congruences,group congruences and idempotent-separating congruences efficiently.
