Design of MIMO-OFDM baseband system transmitter based on FPGA

In this paper,multi-input multi-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM) system was introduced,and the implementation principle of the transmitter was analyzed.Making full use of Stratix series field programmable gates array(FPGA) chips of Altera Company and IP(Intellectual Property) core,a feasible implementation method based on FPGA for MIMO-OFDM baseband system transmitter was proposed.This paper selectively analyzed the method and theory of diagonal bell laboratories layered space-time(D-BLAST) adapting for FPGA implementation and working principle of each main module.Simulation results with ModelSim were presented.Results showed that this design had a feature of simple,fast,efficient and real-time.
