Analysis and Application of RFID Radio Frequency Technology in Libraries

This paper describes the working principle of radio frequency RFID,and it's application and significance of radio frequency RFID technology in the Library,By the means of electronic tags,the circulation of books,self-lending,security,inventory,retirement,shelves assortment,automatic sorting are all accomplished by RFID radio frequency identification technology which realizes the situation of the quick and easy self-service borrowing,reliable and accurate anti-theft system,fast stock counting,books looking up and shelves assortment.This paper makes the comparison of RFID technology and barcode technology,the advantages and disadvantages of several different frequency of RFID technology applied in the library,and it also refers the UHF radio frequency RFID technology applied in the children's library practically.
