Based on the demand analysis of the geotechnical exploration information system,this paper has put forward a plan to develop the geotechnical exploration information system by using Microsoft SQL Server,Microsoft Visual C# and OpenGL technology. At last this paper presents a detailed description of the background,the object,meaning and the key technique.
