Regulation on Infringements of Copyright in Webcasting

With the fast development of information and network technology,the broadcast by means of the Internet has been emerging.However,the regulations on the right of communication of information on networks and the right of broadcast in our existing Copyright Law are not able to tackle well this infringement of copyright in non-interactive webcasting,so interest holders can only be protected by the Miscellaneous Provisions in Copyright Law at present.By comparative analysis,this paper proposed a change in Copyright Law to extend the definition of the right of broadcast in order to regulate webcasting.
