Preparation and Study of a New Kind of Adhesive from Starch and Urea

A new kind of adhesive has been synthesized from starch and urea t hrough condensation reaction.The process was simple with less environmental pol lution and less corrosion.Compared with the general adhesive,the properties suc h as temperature resistance and adhesive force were greatly improved and the cos t of production was reduced.The results showed that the new product is an excel lent adhesive with bright prospect and can be used on paper-packaging industry .
