This paper presented a Hough transform-based detection method of concentric circles. The core idea of the method is to reduce the Hough cumulative dimension of the circle detection based on classical Hough transform, and convert the three-dimensional statistical parameter based on the traditional circle Hough transform to two-dimensional parametric statistics about the center of a circle and one-dimensional statistical parameter about the radius of a circle.According to the fact that a round of all the points must be inscribed circle round, the black and white points of the edge image were extracted, and a two-dimensional array accumulator was established.Accumulator counts after scanning Pixel-edge image with the accordance of distribution, and then the calculation of the center position was carried out. Finally, cumulate the radius of each circle center;determine the radius of concentric circles set.The whole process as opposed to the traditional Hough transform detection greatly reduces the computational complexity and demand for resources.
