The ratio of the first two eigenvalues of one-dimensional p-Laplace problem{ -(|u′(x)|p-2 u′(x))′=(p-1)λρ(x)|u(x)|p-2 u(x),x∈(0,a)u(0)=u(a)=0 is investigated,whereρ(x)is concave densities,the ratio λ2/λ1 is minimized whenρ(x)is a constant.
