The study of electrical tree in electrical wires and cables has been receiving a lot of attention from scholars all the while, which has a vast range of prospects of both application and research. On the basis of related literatures published in recent years, the influencing factors, the mechanism and the quantitive model of electrical tree in polymer are viewed and the research direction in the future is also pointed out.
