DHT-based Trading Object Service Architecture

A trader or a trading object provides the ability to discover instances offered in a distributed system. This paper proposes a DHT based Trading Service (DHT-Trader) Architecture in a CORBA environment which not only takes advantage of the scalability and robustness of a DHT but also supports type related, attribute based and semantic queries. Difficulties of type related query and semantic query are manifested and further DHT-based solutions are put forward. By using DHT-trader, an exporter can publish several service names by which an importer can retrieve service instances. Besides, an importer can get all the sub-class instances of a specified service.
