Research and implementation of service composition execution engine based on BPMN

The mismatch between the business model and the execution model is a difficult and hot issue of current research on Web service composition.Nowadays,the most popular way was mapping the business model to the executable model. But the problem was that the translation may lead to semantic mismatch or other defects due to the different semantics and syntax between these two modeling languages. To solve the problem above,presented an execution method for Web service composition based on business process modeling notation(BPMN) and an execution algorithm for the BPMN process based on model analysis.This paper also gave a prototype system of BPMN execution engine and validated the execution scheme through a case study.
