Development and application of high-yield and cost-effective interplant cultivation model of watermelon and cotton

The high yield and productive cultivation patterns were studied based on the characteristics of watermelon and cotton growth. The experimental results showed that spacing of 4.5 m×0.65 m for watermelon and 1.5 m×0.45 m for cotton gave the best yield and return among the three inter-planting patterns and five treatments tested.
