A Comparative Study of Chinese and Thai Phonetic Sound and Phonetic Sound Error Analysis

This is a synchronic and static study of Chinese and Thai phonetic,which explores the identical aspects,similarity and difference of vowel,consonant and intonation of Thai language.This article presents the special features and the whole phonetic system of the two languages,and reveals the overall character and discrepancy of the two languages.It also analyses of'fossilization'of the acquisition of Thai phonetic sound and summarize the phonetic error marks of Thai students' in the acquisition of Chinese language.
