THE CONSTRUCTION OF BIORTHOGONAL WAVELETS BASED ON THE B-SPLINES

Compactly supported orthogonal wavelets do not possess the character of symmetry or anti-symmetry but Haar bases. In this paper, we discuss the construction of biorthogonal wavelets based on the B-splines. The wavelets possess both compactly supports and symmetry(or anti-symmetry).
