An Improved Algorithm for RPL Protocol Routing Based on Triangle Module Operator

For the current routing process and topology construction of low-power and lossy networks(LLNs)goingwith unique factors and unbalance energy distribution,an improved routing algorithm for RPL protocol based on tri-angle module operator is proposed to optimize path selection. This paper describes the mechanism of network topolo-gy and routing process of Routing Protocol for LLNs(RPL),also proposes a new index fusing the energy and logicaldistance of the nodes through triangle module operator. As a result,more reasonable parent node selection isachieved and further improvement of the reliability and effectiveness of data acquisition and transmission is real-ized. Finally,the performance of the optimized routing protocol is verified through simulation experiments.
