Knowledge and representation of model management

Using the thinking methodology of dialectical systems,begining with the whole process from things that objectively exist to the subjective perception and the common characteristics of different scientific fields, this paper systematically discusses the model and the knowledge systems it managed.First,it gives the sixlevel model set including the model of basic concept attribute,the model of data and information,the model of problem,and the model of optimization or decision etc.,and clarifies the concept system and layer relations of the model.Then,based on the theory of knowledge engineering,this paper gives the knowledge of model including the common knowledge,the instruction knowledge,the application knowledge,the visualized and interactive knowledge,and builds the knowledge element accordingly.In this way,a more systematic knowledge system is formed,and lays a knowledge foundation for model management.
