Present research situation and prospect of Chinese medicine expert system

This paper summarized the development of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) experts system in more than 20 years and the technical characteristics of the expert system used in TCM.Based on the development of TCM diagnostic expert system,proposed new ideas and achieving technologies,such as the building of cognitive modeling,domain ontology applications,natural language understanding,data mining,knowledge networks,and multi-agent system from system modeling,knowledge acquisition,knowledge and so on.It designed a new of TCM experts system and provided valuable reference direction for TCM.
