Oil and natural gas are the national important energy resources.The provincial department of land and resources bears important responsibilities for the prospecting,exploitation and supervision of the oil and natural gas in its administrative region.The provincial management information system of prospecting,exploiting and supervising the oil and natural gas adopts advanced GIS and database techniques,providing the assisting tools of the intendance and management.Through the analysis of the operation,data,function and so on,the authors brought forward the system structure and database design,as well as the function and application of the system.
