Design on Situation Display System Based on COM Technology

With a good understanding of the functions and features of situation display applications,a novel display method is proposed under a hierarchical software architecture,which utilizes both GIS and COM technologies.To depict the method clearly,in this paper,first,the function,composition and structure of the system implemented by using the suggested method are presented.Then a feasible system design scheme is described.Also,the technical features of GIS and COM object models are analyzed.The experiences on applying software object-oriented design and interfaces design skills and map plotting strategies are introduced.Experimental results show that the suggested method is universal,extensible and efficient.
