High Accuracy Measurement of Discharge Curve with a Stable Low Current Source

The rapid development of mobile computing is promoting the electronic products towards the direction of low power and ultra-low power consumption.Also,product designers make of harsh requirements to its power supply.As the power center of the mobile terminal,battery is becoming more and more important and its measurement of discharge curve is even more important.This paper introduced a way of measuring a battery's discharge curve with a stable low current source,mainly expounded the key points in the stable low current source design and then analyzed the errors due to the factors such as low current source,multi-meter and temperature.Finally,software simulation and practical measurement demonstrated that the design approach can control the test errors of the battery's discharge curve under 1%.
