Achieved on the coal face automation requirements for real-time monitoring of the shearer's location.CAN intelligent node can meet the shearer position monitoring system requirements on the communication,such as real-time and reliability,flexibility.Introduced the basic principles of location monitoring of the shearer,proposed the design of the intelligent node of shearer position monitor,implementation methods are presented,and signal processing and transmission are briefly described.
