Blind Detection of MPSK Signals Based on Cyclic Spectrum

To solve the problem of low detecting probability of MPSK signals in low SNR and non-cooperative circumstances,a novel method of detection based on cyclic spectrum analyzer(CSA) was proposed.The detection was realized by searching for the spectral peak on the biofrequency plane according to the cyclostationarity of MPSK signals under the condition of unknown code sequence,carrier frequency and chip width.The method has a small computing complexity as a result of temporally smoothing.The simulation results show that CSA has a high detecting probability for MPSK signals and the performance decreases as the modulation becomes complicated.The increase of data length can improve detecting performance remarkably.
