AD9832 and Its Application in High Frequency Measuring Instrument

Direct digital synthesis is the third frequency synthesis technique after direct synthesis and indirect synthesis. It is widely used in electronic systems because of its special advantages. AD9832 is a new type of direct digital synthesizer produced by Analog Devices Inc. of America. It has high converting speed, pure spectrum and high integration, and is a flexible and enhanced chip. The principle of direct digital synthesizer of AD9832 is introduced. The pin functions and its application in high frequency measuring instrument are also discussed.
