Model Validation Method of Radar Signal Model Based on Spectrum Estimation

Radar signal model is an important part of radar system simulation, so its validation has an important meaning in the analysis of system creditability. Two kinds of methods including the classical spectral estimation and the maximum entropy spectral estimation are applied to spectrum estimation of two groups of radar signal produced by simulation. Correlation coefficient method is proposed for model validation in frequency domain. Comparative analysis result about advantage and disadvantage of these two kinds of methods is given. Data from some radar simulation system and experiment is validated with this method, which indicates relatively high reliability on the radar simulation system.
