RESEARCH & REALIZATION OF THE WAP FOR MOBILE APPLICATION

Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) is used as a bridge of interchanging information between Internet and wireless communication networks, which includes several industry wide standards and specifications. This paper describes the model of WAP system, analyses the manner and problems of WAP mobile telephone, and discusses the reasons. In view of the requirement of WAP users and the feature of WAP service, research on the environment and realization of WAP is made. Using Remote Authentication Dial In User Service, we construct a tree model for remote authenticating and accounting, which can be used to support mobile users when they move among cities.
