Low-attitude aircraft flight path plan based on genetic simulated annealing algorithm

Liu Jia-chen · Journal of Computer Applications · 2010

To solve the flight path plan problem for low-altitude aircraft,a three-demensional flight path plan algorithm was proposed combining simulated annealing algorithm and genetic algorithm. In the modeling process,Digital Elevation Model(DEM),every kind of threat and the aircraft' s flight performance were integrated.Based on the characteristics of low-altitude penetration and aircraft' s flexibility,an effective genetic operator was designed. It adopted the advantage of simulated annealing that can close to the global optimum solution, and suppressed the genetic algorithm' s weakness liable to converge to the local optimum solution. The result indicates that this algorithm' s suitability is very well, and it can satisfy the requirements of terrain follow and threat avoidance in low-altitude penetration mission.
