STUDY ON SH-WAVE DETECTION METHOD OF ROOT STONES ALONG THE YELLOW RIVER DYKE

The detecting technique of root stones along the Yellow River dyke has always been paid very close attention by the Yellow River Water Conservancy Committee,the Ministry of Water Conservancy. This is the first attempt to probe the root stone along Yellow River dyke with seismic SH-wave method,and abtains a better result. This paper discusses the theoritical foundation, seismic-geologic condition, test parameters, key measures of data processing and geological result. Therefore, it provides a valuable scientific method to detect root stones along the Yellow River dyke and the other similar engineering geological problems.
