VOQ demultiplexing algorithm and implementation

Presently, most high-speed switches use Virtual-Output-Queued method and switching with fixed-length cells. Most articles on queue organization focus on the situation that each port of the switching fabric is connected to one physical interface. But practically it often needs to multiplex and de-multiplex. Considering the characteristic of the edge router subsystem, we propose queue organizing and demultiplexing algorithm based on sub-port. In this article, we抣l introduce this algorithm, and give the performance analysis and implementation of the algorithm.
