An Image Retrieval Algorithm Based on Blocked Color Coherence Vector

The concept of color coherence vector is introduced; the similarity measurement of blocked color coherence vector is defined, and the rapid search algorithm for coherence is proposed. These compose an image retrieval algorithm based on blocked color coherence vector. Experiment shows that it is better than the blocked histogram algorithm in human subjective sense.
