3B4B Encoding and Decoding Circuit Based on FPGA

The paper introduces one of simple 3B4B encoding method,and proposes the designing process of all digital 3B4B encoding and decoding circuit by VHDL language of the Altera developing system.The simulation results are given.How to refine bit synchronized signal in receivers by all digital technology is one of research subject in communication field.This paper provides a kind of simple method based on FPGA except digital pulselocked loop.
