Research on Data Access Middleware

Data Access Middleware is a middleware which establishes a model of data application resource interoperation and implements database link or file system link under heterogeneous environment in a distributed system.This kind of middleware is one of most popular and maturest middlewares.This paper comprehensively introduces the research efforts,implementation mechanism and key techniques of data access middleware.Finally,the future direction of data access middleware is indicated.
