A Novel Method of Face Features Location Based on the Skin-color and Geometry Features

Utilizing the face color and the self-adapting choose of optimal threshold,the candidate feature regions are separated from the skin area.Then each connect candidate feature region is verified by face geometry features.This method is characterized by its low operation cost,high efficiency and accuracy.What’s more,the experimental results won’t be affected by expression of person,image’s angle or background.
