The political and cultural ideological basis for construction of the Chinese Ancient Book Classification system has been Analyzed, that includes: with the policy of benevolence thought as the main line, with the Six Classics as the core, a high regard for Confucian Classics, reject the others, and treat science and technology as the royalty's maidservant.
