Research on BGP AS-PATH Attribute Information Storing Methods

According to the characteristics of BGP route attributes,it is found that the BGP AS-PATH attribute could be compressed in some extent.In the light of variable length and sparse value of AS-APTH,several hash algorithms and evaluating equation are given.The performance of these algorithms are simulated based on some truly Internet datum.And finally a better hash algorithm is preferred.
