A New Intrusion Detection Method Based on Data Mining

A new method which combined clustering and neural network applied to detecting intrusion.First we using clustering algorithm divided dataset into definite part and indefinite part.Then the definite part has been trained by the BP neural network.The trained BP net make decision if the data in the indefinite part is normal or intrusion.The final results was used for retrain of the BP net.The experiment demonstrates a good performance in detecting intrusions.
