An Image Matching Approach Based on the Invariant Feature of Image Histogram

When the brightness and contrast change, the basic shape of histogram usually keeps unchanged. In view of this, we propose a matching algorithm based on the invariant feature of image histogram. Experiment results show that the algorithm improves robustness of matching and reduces processing time.
