First order statistical methods for CDMA channel estimation

This paper mainly concerns with channel estimation method based on first order statistics for CDMA systems.It derives the expressions of channel estimator and estimation variance,and gives some analysis on the performance of estimators and ratio of peak to average power.The algorithm acquires no imposed conditions on the channel,and simple computation.There is no loss of information rates.Simulation results demonstrate its effectiveness.
