This paper focused on the effectiveness evaluation of non-lethal weapons. Exploring based on the theory of Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process(FAHP), the paper established the analytic hierarchy model of the combat effectiveness evaluation of vehicle-mounted non-lethal weapons. Complementary judgment matrix and least variance method(LVM) of FAHP were adopted to determine weight distribution of every criterion. Fuzzy judgment matrix was determined combining quantitative and qualitative analysis. The combat effectiveness was quantified with weighted average algorithm. Finally, the combat effectiveness evaluation of two types of vehicle-mounted non-lethal weapons were compared and the science and feasibility of this method was verified through case studies.
