Video Mosaic Block Detection Based on FCM and Template Matching

Mosaic is common in digital TV of a video defects phenomenon,can cause video quality degrade,so positioning and restoring Mosaic block effectively in video sequences become more and more important.This paper presents a fuzzy clustering based on FCM and template matching method of detecting video Mosaic pieces,first of all,use the canny edge detection method detect the edge of image. Secondly,use of FCM clustering method to the pixel classification.Finally,use the template matching method detect Mosaic block.Based on the OpenCV library function,achieve the relevant algorithm,experiment results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
