A key updating scheme in delay-tolerant mobile sensor networks

As a branch of research in WSN(Wireless Sensor Network), DT-MSN(Delay Tolerant Mobile Sensor Networks) is a new network model appears in recent years. Sparse connectivity and nodal mobility are its main characteristics. In this paper, the authors analyze the key updating problems in DT_MSN and propose a key updating scheme based on Blom's key pre-distribution mechanism. The scheme allows node to get key from base-station by itself or by other frequently meeting nodes which will finally deliver the key to it. Finally, the authors simulate this key updating scheme to demonstrate the performance of this scheme.
