Discussion of a Proof for a Proposition in Calculus

This paper discusses how to study calculus from the aspect of problem-solving skills,in order to cultivate the students' analyzing ability.A new proof for a proposition of periodic function integration is given,which reveals the meanings of the insertion point and the essence of periodic function integration,and improves the conventional proof emphasized only on selecting limits of integration.
