Study on the Farmers Behavior in Controlling Vegetable Quality and Safety and Their Influencing Factors:Based on the Regulatory Impact of Government,Market and Organization

Based on 831 questionnaires from the vegetable farmers in 4 provinces of,this paper used SEM model to analyze the regulatory impact of government,market and organization on farmers behavior in controlling vegetable quality and safety.The results showed that the farmers' safety knowledge of standards for household vegetable production is not accurate.Most farmers' safety vegetable producing behavior was not standardized.Government had the greatest impact on farmers behavior in controlling vegetable quality and safety,the next was the organization,and the minimal was the market factor:the three were closely related.Among the regulatory measures taken by the government,market and organization,the detection efforts of the government,the responsibility traceability of the market and the detection efforts of organization were the three particularly important factors in regulating the safety behavior of farmers.In order to further regulate the safe vegetables production behavior of farmers,government,markets and organizations should work together to strengthen the supervision of farmers.On the other hand,governments should also strengthen the supervision of markets and organizations.
