Real-time Video Transmission and Control over WLAN

This paper studies and implements an end-to-end system of H.263 real-time video transmission based on RTP/UDP/IP over WLAN. Aiming at wireless QoS mechanism, this system applies a RTCP feedback rate control algorithm-TFRC which can adjust the sending rate dynamically according to the packet loss rate to realize congestion control. Experiments show that the transmission method can obtain good video transmission quality.
