Design and testing of DDS waveform generator based on single chip FPGA

This paper introduces the working principle of the direct digital frequency synthesis(DDS) technology,proposes the design of DDS waveform generator based on a single chip FPGA.The paper analysis the design ideas of each moduls,and designs the circuit with VHDL and LPM macro module.In the Signal TapII of Quartus II software,the system generates waveform of sine,triangle,square,sawtooth and others,Which frequency and phase can be adjusted.
