Cascading Failures Study of Urban Traffic System Based on CML

This paper presents an urban traffic system CML(Coupled Map Lattice) model on the base of describing the complex networks features of an actual urban traffic system.We study cascading failures using this model,investigate the relationship between disturb intensity and networks failures using simulation methods.Furthermore,we research the sensitivity of networks fault undergoing attack and the contagion on different attack tactics.These results should be significant for actual urban traffic systems planning,designing,building and management.
