On the Abstract of Learned Journal

Shao Kai-yun · Journal of Kashgar Teachers College · 2005

Abstract, the important part of learned journal, performs the functions of substitution, guide and reference. It is characterized by its objectivity, integrity, conciseness and standard. Generally, it includes informative abstract, indicative abstract, informative-indicative abstract and structural abstract. Only by trial and error can an abstract be well-written. Certainly importance should be attached to it both by editor and by author.
