DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-SPEED ON-LINE EDDY CURRENT INSPECTION SYSTEM

A high speed on line eddy current inspection system has been developed. The system allows metal tube, bar and wire to pass through the eddy current probe with variable high speed, and defects can be accurately located, marked and recorded. The highest speed of the inspection is 13m/s. The structure and functions of the system are introduced briefly.
